Our child care center is a strong part of the foundation and community for the City of South El Monte. The director, Ofelia Aguilar, ran a high quality preschool out of her home for 11 years and has expanded into the City's mini-center since 2011.
Akitoi Learning Center focuses on problem solving, decision making and self-help, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute to the child’s development, self esteem and confidence.
To meet all of your family's needs, we offer a combination of full and part day and a summer program. We currently accept Options and Early Head Start subsidies along with private-pay families!
